Global Ports Employees Donates 36 Litres of Blood
Global Ports, Russia’s leading operator of marine container terminals (part of Delo Group), organised a corporate blood donation event for employees in the North-West and the Far East. Donor Day was held at the City Blood Transfusion Station in St. Petersburg and the branch of the Regional Blood Transfusion Station in Nakhodka.
The event was joined by 80 employees from St. Petersburg, Kingisepp and Nakhodka. In total, Global Ports donors gave more than 36 litres of whole blood. A total of 390 Global Ports donors donated blood one or more times in 2024.
The development of the volunteer movement is an important part of Global Ports' corporate culture and Delo Group's sustainability strategy. The Group's employees support the wards of the Centre for Social Rehabilitation of Disabled People and Disabled Children in Kronstadt, an orphanage in Vsevolozhsky District of the Leningrad Region, the local society of disabled people in Nakhodka, the Izmalkovo boarding house for children with cancer in Moscow and participate in social projects in Novorossiysk and other cities where Delo Group operates.
