Yanino Logistics Park Included in the List of Transport and Logistics Locations of the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement

Yanino Logistics Park was listed as one of the “dry” ports of the Russian Federation in the Intergovernmental Agreement on Dry Ports signed on 7 November in Bangkok (Thailand) by representatives of member states of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

The document was signed on behalf of the Russian Government by Alexey Tsydenov, Vice Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, during the second session of the Forum of Asian Ministers of Transport held in Bangkok on 4-8 November 2013.

The key objective of the Agreement is to coordinate the policies pursued by APAC countries to develop a system of transport and logistics centers of international importance (“dry ports”) located along highways and included in the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Asian Highway Network and the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Trans-Asian Railway Network (signed by Russia in 2004 and 2006). The document contains a list of dry ports of international importance in the territory of the signatories of the Agreement, including the Russian Federation, a classification of dry ports and a list of recommendations to member states to develop the same.
