Global Ports is governed by its Board of Directors («the Board»), which is collectively responsible to the Group’s shareholders for the long-term success of the Group. The Board is responsible for setting the Group’s strategic objectives and ensuring that the necessary governance, structure, financial management and resources are in place to deliver its objectives. The Board recognises that strong governance supports a heathy company culture and that it is important that the Board leads by example and sets the right tone in championing the behaviours we expect to see. The Board is satisfied that the Directors have the right blend of skills, experience, industry knowledge and independence appropriate to the Group’s needs and its ongoing progress. The Board maintains a sound system of internal control and enterprise risk management to safeguard the Group’s assets and shareholders’ and bondholders’ investments.
