The Baltic Sea Basin dominates container volumes in Russia with around 68%(1) of gross container throughput passed through terminals in the Baltic Sea Basin in 2010.

Baltic Sea Basin ports are also significant in the export of Russian fuel oil representing around 66%(1) of the former Soviet Union states’ fuel oil exports throughput generally in 2010.

The Baltic Sea Basin ports of GPI are located in Russia, Finland and Estonia.
